Collaborate across business functions to ensure financial targets, sales objectives, and inventory goals are met.
Monitor and adjust stock replenishments to maintain the right stock balance and minimize inventory risks.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop strategic plans that enhance brand positioning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Evaluate vendor performance and implement a structured vendor grading and development system.
Identify new supply sources to expand product offerings and improve procurement efficiency.
Assess customer consumption patterns and adjust product allocations accordingly to optimize inventory turnover.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, merchandising, or buying, preferably in sports, golf, or retail industries.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
