Base pay range
Seeking a Level 2 Windows Support Engineer with 5+ years Wintel and 2+ years AWS experience. Responsibilities include Windows server support, AWS services, IAM, CIS hardening, VMS remediation, and automation scripting. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills required.
What You\'ll Be Doing
Keep our Windows Server fleet ) running like clockwork—on-prem and in the cloud.
Master the elements: AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and clustering.
Patch like a pro using WSUS, SCCM, and AWS Systems Manager.
Be the go-to for incident resolution via ServiceNow, Jira, and other ITSM realms.
Dive into AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, CloudWatch, and SSM.
Harden systems with CIS benchmarks and squash vulnerabilities with VMS and Cloudscape.
Analyze IAM permissions like a security sleuth and enforce least privilege.
Detect and defeat threats using Trend Micro Vision One or similar EDR/XDR tools.
Automate everything with PowerShell, AWS CLI, and SSM Documents.
Document your brilliance in SOPs and knowledge articles.
Join patch cycles, audits, and disaster recovery drills.
Be ready for 24x7 support rotations—cape optional.
What You Bring
A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on Wintel experience.
2+ years of AWS cloud experience supporting Windows workloads.
Skills in IAM, security groups, S3 policies, and CloudWatch.
Familiarity with CIS hardening, SCAP, and security tools like Qualys/Tenable.
PowerShell scripting mastery.
Backup and recovery know-how for cloud-hosted Windows servers.
ITIL knowledge and ticketing system experience.

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
