The primary role of IT Application function is to analyze, design, develops and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables include using current programming languages and source code to develop, test, debug complex applications and provide post production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs and system administration to define and document technical specifications and schedule. Responsibilities The primary objective of Solutions Architecture specialization within IT Applications is to define and design the framework and processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Key responsibilities include conception of system interfaces and business application prototypes; identification, analysis and resolution of system design weaknesses; influencing the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems; providing multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives. Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience. Responsibilities might include: Performing routine professional-based activities (early in career)Contributing to and managing projects (mid-career)Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Serves as a best practice resource within own sub-function or function. Qualifications And Experience Required: Minimum 3 years working in an Agile environment Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working Excellent understanding of tools such as JIRA, Confluence Experience working with Oracle ERP systems Experience working with Supply Chain related systems Experience working with Enterprise Systems Preferred: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Experience with Manufacturing systems Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)Involves mastery of a specialized discipline and thorough understanding of a number of disciplines.
