Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer specializing in API Trading to join our TechOps team . This client-facing role involves supporting high-profile institutional clients (e.g., HFTs, algorithmic and quant funds ) with real-time trading issues. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and communicate directly with VIP customers, requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills and bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin . Key Responsibilities Provide real-time technical support and manage urgent escalations for API-related trading issues in high-volume production environments. Communicate and collaborate across internal teams (Product, Dev, Infra) and external institutional clients. Participate in product development cycles, roadmap planning, and release coordination. Triage and prioritize multiple technical issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Drive continuous improvement of support quality, internal processes, and incident resolution times. Document, coach, and train others on support processes and technical workflows. Required Qualifications 5+ years in technical or engineering roles. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) for internal and external stakeholder communication. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Mathematics , or related scientific field. Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Solid understanding of software development methodologies , APIs , and coding standards . Ability to clearly present technical solutions to clients and engineers. 1+ year experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role. Preferred Qualifications Experience in building or supporting quantitative trading systems . Strong skills in data analysis , particularly in financial or crypto markets. Experience designing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems . Familiarity with cloud infrastructure , especially hybrid cloud architectures and system migrations. Hands-on experience with open-source frameworks and contributions to open-source projects.
