Procurement Executive / Senior Executive As a Procurement Exec/Snr Exec, you will be responsible for managing Global Procurement Strategies to optimize costs, and Supplier relationships across Makino Group’s operations. You will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives to enhance competitiveness, efficiency and profitability. Main Duties & Responsibilities Plan and execute strategies aligned with Company’s objectives Identify procurement opportunities and potential suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions Cost Optimization Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to achieve saving targets Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities Assess and mitigate risks associated with global procurement activities Develop contingency plans to ensure Assurance of Supply Quality Assurance Collaborate to establish quality standards for procured parts Monitor supplier performance and implement quality improvement initiatives Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal stakeholders across Makino Group to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business needs Participate in cross functional teams on New Product Realization and initiatives Compliance and Ethics Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to global procurement Promote ethical procurement practices throughout the Supply Chain Requirements Diploma/Degree or Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management, or any Engineering-related fields Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing Experience in strategic procurement, or supply chain management with focus on global operations Knowledge of global procurement practices, market dynamics, and supplier relationship management Negotiation and contract management skills Effective communication skills, good interpersonal and cross-cultural experiences will be a plus Ability to communicate in languages other than English will be a plus Meticulous and detail-oriented Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to travel overseas, willingness to relocate overseas Seniority level Executive Employment type Full-time Job function Purchasing and Supply Chain Industries Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
