Purpose and Scope: Manage the financial & contractual aspects of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts, etc. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing. Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements. Prepare project budgeting and costing reports. Responsible for cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations, and final accounts. Review contracts, prepare tender & contract documentation, tender analyses & reporting, measurement, etc. Review sub-contractors claims and materials on site. Standardize all agreements (e.g., subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy. Qualification, Skills and Experience: Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the construction industry. Strong arbitration and negotiation skills. Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application. Preferably well versed in various forms of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA, and FIDIC as well as other international forms of contracts. Preferably conversant in using Cost X and/or Glodon Cubicost measurement software. Strong communication and presentation skills. Only Singaporeans may apply.
