IT Infrastructure Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our IT systems. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining server and network infrastructure, implementing solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Linux systems, including building and managing compute clusters. You should also have knowledge of high-performance networking and data storage, as well as cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain server and network infrastructure, implementing solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all systems.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing upgrades as needed.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs, providing expert advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in computer engineering or related field.
  • Experience working with Linux systems, including building and managing compute clusters.
  • Knowledge of high-performance networking and data storage, as well as cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
