Overview The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, leadership, and analytical skills. The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a team of marketers, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring that marketing efforts align with the company’s objectives. Develop Advertising Strategies: Formulate comprehensive advertising strategies based on client needs and market conditions, ensuring alignment with client goals and budgets.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of target markets, competitors, consumer behavior, and trends to provide data‑driven insights for effective advertising strategies.Client Communication and Management: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, provide expert advice, and ensure alignment between advertising strategies and client objectives.Team Management and Leadership: Lead the strategy team, allocate tasks, provide guidance to team members, and ensure Responsibilities Strategy Development Develop comprehensive marketing strategies in line with company objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Define target audiences and segment markets to tailor marketing initiatives effectively. Campaign Planning and Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, traditional, social media, etc.). Create compelling messaging and content that resonates with the target audience. Oversee the production of marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, and promotional materials. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of marketers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring that team members work cohesively towards common goals. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team productivity and effectiveness. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with overall business strategies. Communicate marketing plans, objectives, and results to key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners. Budget Management Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes. Monitor expenses, analyze ROI, and adjust marketing strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Analytics and Reporting Track and analyze key marketing metrics, such as campaign performance, website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing effectiveness and inform decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience (X years) in marketing management roles, preferably in (industry/sector). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques. Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Lastly, since approximately 50% of the time, the working language in this role will be Mandarin (both written and spoken), as we frequently liaise with Chinese counterparts and clients.
