Asia Operations provide operational capabilities to Azqore's client banks, allowing them to focus on executing their strategy, reduce operational cost and improve operational risk. Commitment to quality and continuous process improvement, is at the heart of all Asia Operations activities.

It is thus one of the key to facilitate and drive Azqore to reach its ambitious growth target, by putting the clients at the center of its activity, being attentive to their needs, bringing them value and increasing their satisfaction.

Within Asia Operations, the Cash team is responsible for the processing of cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives. In addition, the team is also in charge of cash management of secondary nostro accounts.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the Cash function.
  • Ensuring that the services delivered to the Azqore clients are most efficiently and productively performed
  • Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for reconciliation of trade confirmations for FX/MM and its derivative products.
  • Work closely with the FX and Treasury desk of client entities in order to ensure smooth settlement of FX/MM trades.
  • Follow up of FX/MM settlement fails, in order to mitigate any operational risk arising from these fails
  • There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant markets and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling.
  • Proactively manage and resolve discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad
  • Participates to Azqore Asia Operations projects

Your core competencies

  • Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance
  • At least 5 years of FX/MM transactions & settlements experience.
  • Knowledge of FX/MM derivatives and its trade confirmations reconciliations is preferable.
  • Familiar with financial products (FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives, such as exotic option types, IRS, CCS, OIS & REPO) as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks related to the trade processing & settlement of these products.
  • Knowledgeable about SWIFT message types.
  • Good knowledge and practice of Office suite
  • Experience in Private Banking is a plus.
