About the role

Peculiar Concept is seeking a talented 2D/3D Designer/Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Ang Mo Kio, North-East Region. As a full-time Interior/Commercial Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional design solutions that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Design and develop interior concepts for commercial spaces, including pop-up stores, retail counters, and display installations.
  • Prepare layout plans, 3D renderings, and detailed construction drawings.
  • Produce 2D and 3D design concepts, drawings, and renderings using industry-standard software
  • Develop detailed construction and technical drawings for interior design projects
  • Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure the successful implementation of design plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies
  • Contribute to the company's ongoing design and innovation initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in 2D/3D design and drafting for commercial projects
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar
  • Strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, and retail display solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and presentation skills
