Job Responsibilities The Technical Lead and Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architectural patterns, and best practices. Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services. Design and implement robust cloud architectures that meet business requirements and performance SLAs. Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and services. Create detailed design documents and technical specifications. Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks). Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline infrastructure management. Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs. Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and industry standards. Implement security controls to protect sensitive data and applications. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement performance optimization techniques to improve application response times. Monitor system performance and proactively address issues. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems. Provide timely and effective support to end-users. Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and service requests. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture. Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of networking and security concepts. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Advanced certifications in cloud technologies. Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
