Visiting Professorship in Chinese Studies/Studies of China
The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore invites applications for a Visiting Full Professor position in Chinese Studies/Studies of China.
This is an open call, with suggested areas of specialisation including:
  • Chinese culture, heritage and digital humanities
  • The economy of China
  • Media landscapes in China
  • Chinese diaspora in Southeast Asia, including migration patterns, art, and any research relating to overseas Chinese people
  • Design, art and creativity
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to pursue advanced research at NTU and teach where possible, advising/mentoring junior faculty. The proposed visiting period for this engagement is 2 months.
Candidates who have an international reputation for excellence in their relevant disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply. The application procedure requires submission of a cover letter, CV, and research statement by 30 Apr 2025.
