The Candidates Are Expected To Establish an independent, world-class research program Enhance the School's visibility as an international leader in education and research Teach undergraduate and graduate courses Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers Responsibilities Conduct original high-quality research in areas related to bioengineering, including but not limited to RNA and protein bioengineering. Publish high quality papers in reputable peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. Give invited talks at international conferences, secure competitive research grants, and supervise research personnel. Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Supervise undergraduate and graduate students undertaking research projects. Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles. Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University. Requirements PhD in Chemical Biology or a related discipline, with post-doctoral research experience. Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals Demonstrated the ability to obtain extramural funding A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields Experience in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration All applications and materials submitted will be held in strict confidence.
