We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven
Junior IT Programmer
to join our team in Singapore. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, creating efficient solutions, and contributing to process improvements through automation, scripting, and system integration. You'll be working in a dynamic environment where your technical skills will make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Process Improvement:
Develop solutions to streamline workflows and routine operations using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and custom scripts.
Data Extraction & Processing:
Create and maintain web scraping tools to gather and manage information from external sources.
Bloomberg Data Utilization:
Enhance data workflows using Bloomberg Terminal, particularly Excel-based Bloomberg functions (e.g., BDP, BDH, BDS).
Programming & Scripting:
Build and maintain scripts in Python (VS Code / PyCharm) and VBA to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Google Workspace Integration:
Use Google APIs (e.g., Sheets API, Calendar API) to enable automation and connectivity across Google Workspace applications.
Documentation & User Support:
Produce clear documentation for all developed tools/scripts and provide basic technical assistance to internal teams.
Requirements:
2–5 years of relevant programming or automation experience.
Strong skills in Python and VBA.
Experience with web scraping techniques and tools.
Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal and Excel-based Bloomberg functions is a plus.
Understanding of Google Workspace API integration.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
