Overview
We’re Hiring: Research & Engagement Specialist Join our one-year programme as a Research & Engagement Specialist, where you will play a key role in conducting survey operations. Your primary responsibility will be conducting interviews with survey participants, either over the phone or face-to-face, to ensure a professional and engaging survey experience while driving high response rates. Through these interactions, you will build your confidence in engaging with diverse individuals, enhancing your communication and interpersonal skills. In addition to survey operations, you will have the opportunity to rotate through various functions within the department, gaining a good understanding of the statistical production process. Over time, you may specialize in an area that aligns with your strengths and career goals.
Location: Singapore, Singapore. Work Mode: Work From Office, Near to Clarke Quay MRT Station. Role: Research & Engagement Specialist (1 Year Contract Renewable).
Responsibilities
Survey Operations: Collect data through phone and face-to-face interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional survey experience that fosters high response rates and customer satisfaction.
Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to encourage online participation, reducing reliance on face-to-face interviews and optimizing survey response rates.
Questionnaire Design: Utilize modern techniques to design surveys that meet organizational needs while keeping pace with technological trends and improving operational efficiency.
Sampling Methodology: Apply advanced sampling methods that minimize survey fatigue among the public while ensuring the accuracy and representativeness of collected data.
Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools to validate and verify the quality of survey data. Explore alternative data sources and apply imputation methods to handle incomplete data.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze collected data and produce clear, actionable reports, using data visualization tools to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
Dissemination Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to raise awareness of statistical products and ensure they meet the diverse needs of various societal segments.
