It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.About The Department The Regional Fraud Uplift Office resides under the Group Retail COO. Its primary responsibility lies in managing fraud-related setups and operating rhythm together with partners across Fraud Risk Management, Business Risk and Control, Analytics Compliance, etc. at Group and Countries to focus on deterring, detecting and resolving fraud to protect our customers and our bank.Job Responsibilities Project delivery Creating detailed project plans and overseeing workstreams within respective Fraud and related business units (e.g., SG and overseeing hiring progress, alignment of roles, etc.) Collaborating with overseas offices to align the structure in accordance with Fraud Policy cum Group Structure – across line 1 and 1.5 Managing regular updates with countries for Country and Group forums on the Uplift progress Aligning on progress updates and blockers within country project teams for communication to Group Maintaining robust governance around decisions made, risks escalated, timeline changes, and other project-related matters. Escalating key risks, defining mitigations, and communicating accordingly with relevant stakeholders Monitoring progress, dependencies, risks/issues at the overall project and workstream level Facilitating a cadence for all market leads to share on fraud trends, typologies, POCs, regulatory areas, and best practices cum mitigation to deter, detect, and resolve fraud risk on an ongoing basis. Aligning country metrics and country fraud forums (AFC, Fraud Ops Panel) as proposed by Group for line 1 and 1.5 Stakeholder engagement Partnering with relevant stakeholders in-country to align on reporting to Group Identifying key risks and mitigations and providing relevant progress updates Partnering with Group counterparts to provide regular updates and necessary clarifications of progress Partnering with internal stakeholders (both in-country and at Group level) for regulatory engagement as necessary Job Requirements 8-10 years of direct experience in the financial industry, preferably in anti-financial crime risk management functions Domain knowledge in Fraud and other Financial Crime risks is a plus Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Senior stakeholder management, with the ability to build constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders and challenge when required Demonstrates in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in related fields Solid experience in Risk, Control & Governance, Operations, Assurance, and Analytics Be a part of UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
