The Senior VP, System Analysis Head, Cards Technology, Group Technology Lead is responsible for leading a team of IT system analysts in supporting cards platform and strategic projects across the UOB franchise. This role requires building and managing system capabilities based on understanding of business functions and aligning with UOB architecture strategy.
This position involves functional solution construction for the Cards processor (CardLink-Mainframe) platform and distributed platform teams (Remote commerce, portals, collections, loyalty, and digital banking interfaces). Cross-functional analysis during requirement and solution phases is crucial, tapping into collective knowledge of business, system analysts, operations, and cross-functional technology teams.
Achieving this goal demands collaboration with Domain architects to establish design solutions by sharing and validating options in context of requirements and technology roadmap. Building the team's capabilities to consistently maintain the repository of system features inventory and data maps for the cards domain is essential.
Prioritizing innovative problem-solving activities that require conceptual thinking, creating 'out of the box' solutions with prototypes and pilots, is key. Establishing processes for system analysts to elicit detailed requirements from impacted business and control teams, translating these insights into scalable group-wide solutions with well-defined acceptance criteria, is vital.
This role also entails collaborating with Program managers and Business Solution Specialists to finalize functional requirements, ensuring requirements and solutions are correctly understood, refined, and translated into equivalent deliverables at each stage of execution.
The ideal candidate will be a dependable and resourceful technology management professional with a proven track record in developing and delivering global/ regional Cards capabilities for a multi-national/regional company. They should possess more than 18 years of experience in this field, with at least 12 years of leadership experience in managing IT system or business analysis teams.
Strong technical/platform knowledge of mainframe processors like CardLink/CardPac/Visionplus and understanding of Cards ecosystem & trends is preferred. Experience in executing large-scale Cards technology transformation and migration projects is essential.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The estimated annual bonus ranges from 20% to 30%. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan matching, and paid time off.
