Roles & Responsibilities The Senior/Officer within the Finance team, is dedicated to supporting the school's mission and strategic priorities by ensuring the effective and efficient management of financial resources, while upholding good governance and accountability. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Offier/Finance Officer will handle the school's accounts receivable operations and reporting requirements, contributing to the school's long-term financial sustainability of the school. Job Responsibilities Accounts Receivables Maintenance of students' and receivables' records Issuance of invoices for school fees and any other fees Monthly collection and monitor of school fees, co-payments and any other fees, etc Cash & cheque collection for school fees and other miscellaneous receipts Import and post billings and collections to Accounting system Send statement of accounts and reminders for outstanding accounts Monitor and follow up on outstanding amounts due Prepare students enrolment and other reports to MOE, etc Application of Edusave Pupil Fund withdrawals via iBENS and reimbursement to students Liaise with parents, students, teachers, MOE on school fees & financial assistance matters Any Other Matters Assist in grant-related matters and reporting Prepare journal entries Prepare schedules for auditors Assist the Finance Manager in quarterly GST returns Assist the Finance Manager & Finance Director in banking/treasury matters Any other ad-hoc assignments as required Requirements A Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business or related field At least 2 years of working experience in the accounts receivable function is preferred Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a merticulous eye for details Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively in a team Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity Proficient in MS Office Suite, financial software and related tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
