Key Accountabilities Technical Leadership & Execution Lead, perform, and validate complex Instrumentation Engineering deliverables for multidisciplinary projects, covering the full lifecycle from concept definition to commissioning. Conduct and critically assess in-house site surveys, ensuring design integrity, technical feasibility, and conformity with client's engineering methodologies. Assurance, Standards & Compliance Enforce client's engineering standards, assurance processes, and HSE policies throughout all project activities. Rigorously evaluate and justify any deviations or variations from approved codes, standards, and practices, ensuring technical soundness and regulatory alignment. Engineering Governance & Standardization Support the continuous improvement of client's internal engineering standards and procedures. Review, benchmark, and implement client's amendments to external standards (ISA, IEC, API, NFPA, etc.) to maintain best-in-class engineering quality. Multidisciplinary Coordination & Leadership Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of multidiscipline engineering teams to ensure timely and technically sound delivery of all engineering outputs. Integrate and align instrumentation designs with mechanical, electrical, process, and control system interfaces. Scope & Design Management Develop, review, and validate multidisciplinary workscopes and design documentation to ensure completeness, clarity, and full technical compliance. Anticipate and resolve complex scope ambiguities, ensuring seamless coordination between internal stakeholders, contractors, and third-party entities. Technical Oversight & Contractor Management Review, approve, and monitor method statements and engineering deliverables developed by external contractors to ensure full scope compliance and quality assurance. Engage with contracted organizations to resolve advanced technical issues in a timely and effective manner. Project Control & Scheduling Develop, maintain, and monitor schedules for internal engineering activities, ensuring effective coordination with external FEED and EPIC contractors. Identify schedule deviations and proactively implement corrective actions to safeguard project objectives. Bid Evaluation & Contract Review Conduct comprehensive technical bid evaluations to ensure alignment with client's standards, scope requirements, and interface constraints. Rigorously assess and provide expert recommendations on contract variations and change proposals, ensuring adherence to established technical and commercial frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable. 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry. Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Instrumentation Engineering. Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
