About the role
As an Interior Designer at Chen's Interior Studio Pte. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functional design of residential and commercial spaces. Based in the Balestier Central Region, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity to apply your creative skills and technical expertise to deliver exceptional interior design solutions.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, space requirements, and project goals
Develop creative design concepts and detailed floor plans that optimise the use of space and enhance the overall aesthetic
Select and coordinate the procurement of high-quality furniture, fixtures, and finishes that align with the client's vision and budget
Oversee the implementation of design plans, working closely with contractors and tradespeople to ensure the successful execution of projects
Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and industry regulations to provide innovative and compliant solutions
Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns throughout the design process
What we're looking for
A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in the interior design industry, preferably within the residential and/or commercial sectors
Candidates with no experienced are welcomed. (Training will be provided)
Strong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
Excellent creative and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design concepts and solutions with confidence
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to interior design
Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and time management
