About the Role Our Economic and Financial Consulting team helps our clients navigate legal, regulatory and international arbitration proceedings while supporting strategic decision-making and public policy debates around the world. Delivering incisive interpretation of complex economic issues has made us a global leader in this field. Our team includes economists, accountants, valuation professionals, MBAs and econometricians. We work on varied and challenging assignments across a wide spectrum of industries, including international law firms, global conglomerates, FTSE 100 companies, governments, and regulators. We have significant expertise in the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets. What You’ll Do As a Consultant/Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to apply your intellect and skills to a diverse range of economic, valuation and business issues. You will play a key role in our projects, working in small teams to carry out industry, market, and quantitative analysis, and to report our findings in a clear, concise, and structured way. More specifically, the role will involve: Identifying relevant project material and delivering key supporting research Analysing large volumes of data and performing statistical analysis Designing complex models with limited guidance Preparing reports, written analyses, presentations, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverables Designing and building valuation models and performing financial analysis Investigating and critiquing assertions, analyses, and work products of other experts Assisting in business development activities in Asia-Pacific What You Will Need to Succeed Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Collaborative skills and good project and people management abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Effective research skills, both independently and as part of a team Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 3-6 years of post-graduation work experience in a relevant/related field ACA, CFA, or other relevant qualification in finance or economics is a plus but not required Excellent modelling financial skills and experience in designing, coding, and implementing pricing/valuation frameworks Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/VBA, Word and Power Point) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to travel when requested FTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
