Overview
Want to revolutionize the future of education and make a meaningful impact on the lives of IB students worldwide? Revision Village is seeking experienced IB Chemistry teachers with classroom teaching experience, strong soft skills, and a passion for education to join as part-time, hourly tutors. This remote role involves delivering Revision Village materials and tools to students around the world, helping them achieve strong academic outcomes. Remuneration is 45 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
Work with students across the world (e.g., US, Asia, Australia, Europe) in a time zone that works for you
Conduct tutoring sessions on an ongoing, regular basis
Apply IBDP Chemistry curriculum knowledge to provide high-quality tutoring to Revision Village students
Prepare students for upcoming examinations and reinforce fundamental concepts to improve performance
Maintain communication with students outside of formal sessions as needed
What We Are Looking For
You are a qualified teacher with 2+ years of classroom teaching experience in the IB Chemistry curriculum (essential)
Experience with examinations and/or leading workshops in your subject
At least 4 hours of weekly availability to tutor (more is preferred)
Passion for education and teaching; prior tutoring experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail, with solid planning and organizational skills
