IBDP Biology Tutor Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and dedicated IBDP Biology tutors to provide high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for students pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Biology at the Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IBDP Biology curriculum, strong familiarity with Singapore-based IB schools, and a proven track record of guiding students toward academic excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide targeted support for exam revision, Internal Assessments, and Extended Essays in IBDP Biology
  • Guide students in developing a deep understanding of key concepts and skills
  • Mark and review students' essays, class practice, and other internal assessments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Adapt teaching approach based on student progress and school-specific syllabus pacing
  • Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria to achieve their full potential
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching/tutoring IBDP Biology
  • Familiarity with syllabi taught at reputable IB schools like ACSI, SJI, and SOTA
  • In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks
  • Proven success in helping students achieve high grades, particularly Level 6–7
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a relevant field preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MOE-trained or IB-certified teachers highly valued
  • Familiarity with Internal Assessments and Extended Essays in local IB schools
