IBDP Biology Tutor

We are seeking experienced and passionate IBDP Biology tutors for freelance or part-time positions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IBDP Biology curriculum, strong familiarity with Singapore-based IB schools, and a proven track record of guiding students toward excellence.

  • Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for IBDP biology (SL/HL)
  • Provide targeted support for exam revision, IAs and Extended Essays
  • Guide students in understanding key concepts
  • Mark and review students' essays, class practice, and other internal assessments
  • Adapt teaching approach based on student needs and school-specific syllabus pacing
  • Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to parents if required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of IBDP Biology teaching/tutoring experience
  • Familiarity with syllabi taught at schools like ACSI, SJI, SOTA, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks
  • Proven success in helping students achieve Level 6–7 grades
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Responsible, responsive, and able to commit consistently
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or relevant fields preferred

Preferred

  • MOE-trained or IB-certified teachers highly valued
  • Familiarity with IAs and EE in local IB schools
