About the job
This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's public reporting and financial disclosures meet the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness. They will play a key part in managing the financial compliance framework, serving as a liaison for external auditors and regulators. The role also involves supporting the company's M&A activities by reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance for deals across various markets. The ideal candidate is adaptable, curious, and eager to learn, ready to take on a dynamic set of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Ensure high standards of accuracy and timeliness in public reporting and financial disclosures.
Manage the financial compliance framework and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
Support M&A activities by reviewing financial statements and ensuring deal compliance across markets.
Collaborate with CFO and senior stakeholders across departments.
Skills and experience required
Accounting degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Open to high-performing Big4 audit managers seeking to transition into a commercial role.
