Singapore Course Full time

Early Childhood Teacher (Based at private home, Bahasa-Speaking)
Established in a landed property, this 0-3 program combines various teaching and learning approaches with intergenerational activities. The small group size (1-5 children) enables meaningful interactions between the teachers, children, and extended family members. The Bahasa teacher should feel comfortable working with and in the presence of the parents and grandparents of the children in their care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and organise quality Integrated Early Childhood and Intergenerational programs in conjunction with the principal.
Maintain the holistic development and care for the children, ensuring a safe environment that meets the needs of parents and children.
Develop and implement emergent and structured teaching approaches to enrich learning experiences for children and family members in both English and Bahasa.
Facilitate positive engagement with parents and the community through social and educational events.
Assist the principal in managing operations such as student admission, planning, and procurement.
Participate in staff and parent development activities.
Cooperate with the local Association and participate in its activities.
Requirements:
University degree preferred.
Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching (DECCE-T) and Leadership (DECCE-L) or equivalent (ECE Diploma).
Minimum 2 years experience in a play-based early childhood centre; experience in infant care is preferred. Experience with senior populations is an asset.
Fluent in both English and Bahasa.
Strong advocate for children's rights with excellent interpersonal skills to convey the importance of multi-generational living.
Strong work ethic and a desire to extend current program goals.
Reggio-inspired exposure is advantageous.
