The company is committed to excellence, safety, and innovation, providing structured training and clear career progression, with a strong culture of promoting from within.Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Tender Manager to drive growth and Tender activities in civil and foundation engineering projects, including piling, ground improvement, and geotechnical works.This hybrid role combines client-facing business development with strategic oversight of tender submissions, ensuring technically robust and commercially competitive bids for both public and private sector projects.Key Responsibilities Business Development Identify and pursue new project opportunities in civil and foundation engineering, including bored piling, secant piles, diaphragm walls, ground improvement, and general civil works. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand project pipelines. Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and industry forums. Provide strategic input on project pursuit, positioning, and bid/no-bid decisions. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to guide business growth. Bid & Tender Management Lead or oversee the end-to-end tender process for civil and foundation projects. Review tender documents, drawings, geotechnical reports, and BOQs to guide bid preparation. Coordinate with estimators, engineers, project teams, and HSE staff to deliver compliant and competitive tender submissions. Maintain a library of past project references, method statements, HSE documentation, and bid templates. Track tender progress, provide updates to senior management, and implement lessons learned to improve success rates. Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 experience in civil, foundation, or geotechnical projects, with exposure to both business development and tendering. Practical knowledge of bored piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, ground improvement techniques, and general civil works. Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and ability to influence bid and business outcomes. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
