Assistant Director Energy
Integrated Research for Action Development (IRADe) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director to undertake key leadership responsibilities. The position will be confirmed after a one-year probation period.
Job Description:
Conduct action or policy projects, preferably in the energy sector.
Assist in raising funds in IRADe's thematic areas and initiate new areas of work.
Work closely with senior management to manage and promote IRADe's activities.
Establish new networks and promote IRADe's activities through collaboration and partnerships.
Guide young talent and facilitate group activities.
Desirable Qualifications:
10-15 years of experience in research and policy analysis in energy, climate change, gender, or environment.
Preferably a Ph.D. with a publication record related to IRADe's work.
Experience working with Indian and international organizations.
Strong networking skills and insights into action research.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional writing skills and ability to oversee project reports.
Recognition at national and international levels in the relevant field.
Knowledge of development issues, renewable energy, climate change, and energy efficiency.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
At least 10 years of fundraising experience.
