Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing occupational safety and health (WSH) procedures Communicate WSH KPIs to the Site/Project Manager and track performance Provide advice and guidance on safety matters to employees to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Participate in the planning and design stages of projects to identify and address WSH considerations Monitor compliance with WSH legislative requirements, safe work procedures, and liaise with authorities on WSH matters Coordinate rehabilitation programs for injured workers and monitor the conduct of emergency drills Facilitate and participate in regular EHS meetings, toolbox talks, and mass toolbox briefings Enforce correct and safe practices at all times, recommending and issuing Stop Work Orders when unsafe conditions arise Review safety inspection reports, follow up on corrective measures, and ensure timely rectification of unsafe practices Monitor safety-related training programs to raise awareness and instill safety culture among employees Maintain proper WSH documentation and records, and ensure readiness for safety audits Lead by example to promote workplace safety, health, and environmental responsibility across projects Review and continuously improve WSH practices, SOPs, and guidelines to align with industry standards and company objectives Why Join Us?Be Part of Our Growth Story Be part of a dynamic and progressive organization with plans to scale up in the coming years. What We're Looking For Diploma in any field, with at least 5 years of relevant WSH experience in New Build / A&A / R&R projects Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health with Registered Safety Officer (MOM) certification Additional qualifications such as Work-at-Height for Manager, Environmental Control Officer (ECO), and Internal Auditor certification will be advantageous Strong knowledge of the WSH Act, related legislation, and occupational risk analysis methods Proficiency in safety management systems, facility monitoring, and OSHA guidelines implementation Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills to influence and promote safety culture Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits A chance to work in a supportive team where your efforts are recognized and valued A meaningful role where you can grow your career in the construction industry We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
