HR Specialist at Up to 4500

Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee a team of officers in Human Resource Business Process Outsourcing which includes end-to-end recruitment, scholarship, and internship management, leave and benefits administration, training administration, events management, as well as, data entry, reporting and analytics.
They will ensure the smooth running of operations in accordance to prescribed policy, standing operating procedures and customers' expectations. Additionally, they will verify and/or approve the deliverables of the team in accordance with standard operating procedures.
The role involves coaching and providing on-the-job-training to the team. They will work closely with HR Manager/Director to oversee the staff training and development, performance review and staff welfare of the team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting KPIs. They will engage with stakeholders and attend meetings/discussions with customers on working level. Furthermore, they will address customer issues promptly.
The individual should identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions to Branch Head/Director. Lastly, they must adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources or relevant discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in HR or related field including supervisory experience
- Experience in shared services is an added advantage
- Past working experience in government ministries and statutory boards is preferred
- Experience using Workday is an advantage
- Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong aptitude to learn and pick up new skills, highly adaptable
- High level of initiative and mindset of continuous improvement
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and organised
- Independent, resourceful, team player, results driven, and customer focused
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
