Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the T&O Risk Governance Assurance (TOGA) Head, you will play a pivotal role in the group business continuity and resilience program governance and oversight across the UOB group entities, including overseas banking subsidiaries.
What you’ll do
Drive the development and implementation of business continuity guidelines and plans, processes and systems to effectively support the Group’s crisis management, business continuity & resilience program.
Establish a governance structure for strategic planning and execution of all Business Continuity and Resilience elements.
Lead a team of BCM specialists to ensure the company’s readiness & preparedness for disruptions to critical business operations.
Provide governance secretariat support to the Group’s BCM Committee and the BCM crisis management taskforce.
Lead the facilitation and coordination with Recovery Directors and Business Continuity Management (BCM) Coordinators in preparation for annual BCM attestation to Board.
Engage BU/SUs in managing internal and external thematic audits.
Represent the Bank to liaise with regulators and industry on business continuity and resilience readiness.
Develop relationships with external partners and collaborators such as emergency management agencies.
Job Requirements
Degree from a recognised institution with at least 15 years of working experience, including 8 years in leadership positions.
Proven experience in crisis management and business continuity planning in a financial services institution.
Emergency, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Project Management Certification.
Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong influencing skills and ability to work effectively with diverse departmental groups.
Experience in developing and conducting cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Experience leading projects and programs.
Experience facilitating risk assessments and with risk management frameworks.
Experience delivering emergency, crisis, or risk management training.
Experience leading incident response and capturing intel.
Adaptability in multi-cultural settings.
