Job Title: Experienced Culinary Specialist

We are seeking an experienced culinary specialist to join our team in a challenging and dynamic role.

  • To be able to prepare a wide range of North and south Indian dishes, including popular favorites and new creations.
  • Able to follow established standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency and quality.
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety measures is essential for this role.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as specified by the restaurant manager or supervisor, working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving, maintaining attention to detail and visual appeal.
  • Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, prioritizing organization and efficiency.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Check the quality of ingredients regularly, monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong commitment to our values.
  • Able to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Preferably have completed a Food & Hygiene Course, although keen applicants without this qualification will be sent on the course.
  • Staff meal provided, along with break times.

The ideal candidate should possess leadership skills, culinary expertise, and strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential for this role.
