Direct message the job poster from Ambition Work Location: Flexible / Global We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Vice President to lead the end-to-end human resources function for a fast-growing international internet and cross-border e-commerce business. This role will be responsible for both strategic HR leadership and operational excellence , supporting rapid business expansion and transformation across global markets. The HRVP will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, while also managing a high-performing HR team across multiple geographies. You will oversee core HR domains including talent strategy, organizational development, compensation & performance management, and ensure best-in-class HR practices aligned with both global and local business needs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership Partner closely with the CEO, COO, and other senior executives to align people strategies with business goals. Lead HR strategic planning, workforce design, and organizational transformation initiatives across global offices. Translate global HR priorities into local execution plans, ensuring adaptability and compliance. HR Business Partnering Act as a key HRBP to country and regional heads, offering counsel on org structure, succession planning, team effectiveness, and leadership development. Support business units in solving complex people issues, including change management, cultural integration, and talent retention. Organizational Development & Culture Drive organizational effectiveness through design, restructuring, and development programs. Foster a high-performance culture by implementing values-driven leadership and employee engagement strategies. Lead leadership development and career progression frameworks for critical roles. Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management (COE) Design and implement competitive total rewards programs, including compensation benchmarking and incentive structures. Develop robust performance management systems to drive accountability, productivity, and alignment with business KPIs. Oversee salary review cycles, bonus planning, and equity schemes in coordination with finance and global HR. Team Leadership & HR Operations Manage, coach, and develop a diverse HR team across markets (including Europe) Standardize HR policies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global HR standards across all jurisdictions. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience in multinational companies, with a mix of HRBP and COE exposure. Proven track record of managing remote and regional teams. Deep experience in organizational development, performance management, and compensation design. Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin proficiency preferred dealing with Mandarin speaking stakeholders Industry experience in internet, technology, e-commerce, or cross-border platforms is highly desirable. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments is a strong advantage.
