COO About the Role We are a growing Chinese F&B group introducing a new wave of modern Chinese dining concepts across Singapore. We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead daily operations and drive the next phase of business growth. This role is ideal for an Operations Director or District Manager from an established Chinese restaurant chain who is ready to take on a group leadership role. You will bring both operational discipline and strategic foresight, combining your experience in casual dining operations, outlet performance management, and people leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all restaurant operations across outlets, ensuring consistent food quality, service standards, and profitability. Supervise and mentor outlet managers, chefs, and service teams to maintain smooth daily operations. Implement and standardise operational SOPs for both kitchen and front‑of‑house teams. Analyse outlet performance data and implement corrective actions to achieve sales and cost targets. Coordinate closely with Directors on business strategy, menu direction, and expansion plans. Work with HR and Procurement teams to manage manpower planning, training, and supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with SFA, MOM, and workplace safety regulations. Drive brand reputation and customer satisfaction through operational excellence. Requirements Minimum 8–10 years of F&B experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior operations or district manager role in a Chinese restaurant chain. Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, service flow, and kitchen operations in a casual dining or multi‑outlet setting. Proven ability to lead outlet teams, improve profitability, and maintain brand consistency. Strong operational and financial management skills (P&L, cost control, productivity tracking). Excellent leadership and communication skills; bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese‑speaking kitchen and operations staff.
