About the role The EAL Teacher (High School) plays a central role in supporting multilingual learners to develop English proficiency and achieve academic success across the curriculum. The position operates within the Integrated Services Department, emphasizing collaboration, co‐planning, and adaptive service delivery. EAL specialists partner with teachers, leaders, and the wider Integrated Services team to enhance equitable learning for all students. Position Requirements At least 3‐5 years of experience working with children as a grade teacher with relevant qualifications. Experience working with EAL students and preferably some training in EAL instruction. MYP/IB Experience preferred. Curriculum development knowledge is required. Advisory/pastoral experience preferred. Highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills. Excellent verbal and written English skills. Good references on request. Proficiency in using school databases, communications platforms, and educational technology. Demonstrates Stamford Values – Integrity, Courage, Ingenuity, and Compassion. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent is required. Professional teacher licensure or certification is required. Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
