- Implement Inventory Accuracy Procedures: Develop and enforce cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation procedures to prevent stock discrepancies and errors.
- Lead Warehouse Team: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff; foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures: Establish and enforce SOPs for all warehouse activities to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and local health and safety laws.
- Utilize Technology: Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and other tools for efficient operations and data analysis.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track and report on metrics such as order accuracy, turnaround time, space utilization, and labor productivity to drive continuous improvement.
