Job Description:

As a Mechanical Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operational performance of machinery and equipment.

  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnose faults and malfunctions in systems using your analytical skills to determine the root cause of any issues.
  • Perform repairs and replace defective parts to get our equipment up and running as quickly as possible.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure high reliability of systems reducing the risk of downtime and improving overall efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and advice to users of our equipment helping them to get the most out of our products.
  • Document processes and maintain service records to help us track our progress and improve our services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Inspect and assess the functionality of mechanical systems and components identifying areas where improvements can be made.
  • Understand and implement complex technical manuals and diagrams staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment for repair and maintenance tasks including those provided by our suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure comprehensive service coverage sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications staying current with the latest developments in our field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Diploma in mechanical electronic or similar fields is highly advantageous demonstrating your ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Lift & Escalator industry providing you with a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint allowing you to communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Proven experience in a similar role demonstrating hands-on proficiency with industry-specific systems and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail enabling you to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey information to customers and team members building strong relationships and achieving common goals.
