We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Development Manager to lead the design, development, and management of Microsoft SharePoint environments (both Online and On-Premise). This pivotal role involves understanding business needs, architecting scalable solutions, overseeing implementation, and ensuring effective governance and administration of the SharePoint platform. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and collaboration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Development

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.

• Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end architecture for SharePoint Online and On-Premise, including site structures, workflows, forms, and custom applications.

• Customization and Development: Lead development using out-of-the-box features, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and custom code (JavaScript, .NET, SPFx).

• Workflow Automation: Implement automated workflows to streamline business processes.

• Forms Development: Create user-friendly forms using SharePoint lists, Microsoft Forms, and Power Apps.

• Integration: Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, OneDrive), enterprise systems (CRM, ERP), and third-party tools.

• Branding and UI: Ensure consistent branding and a user-friendly interface across all SharePoint sites.
SharePoint Environment Management

• Site Management: Manage creation and configuration of site collections and subsites.

• Permissions and Security: Define and manage user permissions and access controls.

• Content Management: Enforce content management policies and best practices.

• Feature Configuration: Configure SharePoint features to meet business needs.

• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system health and resolve technical issues.

• Governance: Develop and enforce governance policies and metadata strategies.

• Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute migrations and upgrades using tools like ShareGate, Metalogix, or PowerShell.
Collaboration and Support

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with users, IT teams, and leadership.

• User Support and Training: Provide technical support, documentation, and training to drive adoption.

• IT Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration.

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint issues.
Leadership and Strategy

• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

• Project Management: Lead SharePoint projects from planning to closure.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 advancements.

• Strategic Input: Contribute to digital workplace strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Innovation: Champion new SharePoint features to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

• Architecture Leadership: Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint environments.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in SharePoint design, development, and management.

• Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture and best practices.

• Proficiency in SharePoint development using Power Platform and custom code.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 integration.

• Expertise in SharePoint security and user management.

• Experience with SharePoint migrations and upgrades.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks.

• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Developer Associate.
