Job Description:

This role involves leading reliability studies and analysis, including root caused failure analysis (RCA) and failure modes & effect analysis (FMEA). The incumbent will review and update maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment, ensuring best practices are maintained. Additionally, they will be responsible for the predictive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment, ensuring availability and reliability of process equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maintenance cost.

They will also serve as the technical focal point/representative for new projects, ensuring that designs are reliable and efficient. This includes the development and implementation of mechanical plant modifications and the training of operations & maintenance specialists, engineers, and technicians.

Furthermore, this role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on promoting a safety culture within the team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in marine / gas / chemical industry maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years' hands-on experience in Marine / Gas / Chemical industry maintenance and troubleshooting Centrifugal Compressors &/ Reciprocating Compressor &/ Screw compressors &/ Refrigerant Unit &/ Cooling towers & Water pumps &/ Valves & pipings
  • Familiar with international Codes API, ASMI and local codes for mechanical installations (static and rotating)
  • Strong leadership and team work player
