Company Overview:
A life science research vendor with a presence in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand is seeking an experienced professional to manage client relationships and drive revenue growth in the South East Asia region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development, with experience in building and maintaining customer relationships. They will be responsible for developing targeted sales strategies, evaluating channel performance, and driving revenue growth. The position also requires collaboration with the applications team for technology support and organizing scientific seminars and workshops to engage customers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones
• Evaluate channel performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the applications team for technology support and develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Organize scientific seminars and workshops to engage customers and promote products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Detail-oriented and resourceful, with excellent communication skills
• Hands-on experience in either genomics or proteomics preferred
