About this roleRole DescriptionThe successful candidate will be an integral part of the Asia Pacific Business Development Team and will assume a client facing position, focusing on our Asia Pacific clients and prospects. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the yearly Asia Pacific target, building a strong business development pipeline while executing on Go-To-Market strategy for the region., as well as providing product feedback and direction to meet the needs of the market. The ability to partner with clients in a consultative and proactive manner is a key differentiating factor for the firm.Key Responsibilities•Build a business development plan and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to drive Aladdin Alternatives sales in Asia Pacific.•Work closely with senior sales management team to generate prospect leads, support end-to-end sales of investment technology products to key prospects, and harvest revenue opportunities across existing clients.•Engage in a consultative sales process to communicate as well as demonstrate Aladdin Alternatives' unique value proposition.•Manage complex sales cycles; from lead generation to contract negotiation and beyond.•Establish strong personal relationships and foster a collaborative partnership with clients, creating mutually beneficial outcomes.•Develop strong internal relationships with all groups within Aladdin Client Business and the broader Black Rock organization to ensure excellent client experience and convey client requirement holistically.•Contribute innovative ideas to Aladdin's product group based on clients' needs of a fast-evolving marketplace.Experience Required•5-7+ years of work experience. Previous experience in a financial technology firm working in sales or relationship management. Background in Alternatives financial technology firm is a plus.•Demonstrable interest in Financial Markets with knowledge of Alternative Assets being a plus.•Existing relationships in the Alternatives industry.•Proven track record of success and exceeding revenue targets•Ability to work across organizational functional lines and be effective in a global organization.•Self-starter with the ability to operate with limited guidance in a fast paced and dynamic environment•Committed to gaining relevant knowledge, skills and experience to stay up-to-date as the industry evolves.•Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.Our benefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Our hybrid work modelBlack Rock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
