Software Engineering Team Lead

Our organization is seeking a skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to oversee the development of containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and architect scalable, reliable containerized applications that meet Service Level Agreements (SLA)


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines


• Develop and enforce software development best practices, including documentation, unit testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and security standards


• Mentor and lead a team of offshore developers in their professional growth and technical skills development


• Oversee the integration of messaging platforms, databases, and front-end delivery systems into containerized applications


• Drive and manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products


• Establish, maintain, and monitor code quality, secure coding standards, and efficient engineering processes


• Ensure seamless communication among team members and stakeholders through effective stakeholder engagement skills

Requirements:


• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role


• Strong hands-on experience with Java, , OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Oracle DB, SQL, JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, Single Sign-On (SSO), Web cache


• Proven track record in system design, effort estimation, and architecture in complex enterprise systems


• Familiarity with mobile web delivery using Flutter/Dart and server-driven UI rendering


• Excellent understanding of SDLC methodologies and leading distributed teams

Nice to Have:


• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certification


• Experience with performance and load testing tools


• Understanding of cloud platforms


• Knowledge of container security and compliance practices
