Roles & Responsibilities Job Description We are looking for a Marine Assistant to support the HSSQE (Health, Safety, Security, Quality & Environment) Department in maintaining and improving our Safety Management System (SMS) and assisting with marine-related tasks and documentation. Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) Manuals and related documents. Support document control activities, including version tracking, distribution, and filing. Assist in preparing safety reports, circulars, and compliance documents. Provide administrative support for internal and external audits, vessel inspections, and incident investigations. Coordinate with vessels and other departments on marine and HSSQE matters. Maintain departmental records and databases. Perform general administrative duties to support departmental operations. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related discipline. 1–2 years of relevant experience in ship management or marine operations preferred (fresh graduates may be considered). Basic understanding of ISM Code, ISPS Code, and SMS documentation is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
