Responsibilities
Responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of non-medical and medical supplies in the most cost-effective manner.
Ensure all requisitions and purchases are in alignment with the department's policy.
Work with requestors to achieve business objectives.
Creation of Purchase Orders.
Creation and maintenance of material codes and pricing information in the system.
Liaise with suppliers on delivery and discrepancies in documents (e.g., Delivery Orders).
Prepare monthly and quarterly department reports.
Perform matching of invoices and resolve issues related to delivery and invoicing.
Source new vendors and review vendors' performance.
Provide administrative support to the department.
Requirements
Proactive and enjoy meeting and interacting with people.
Meticulous and able to work independently.
Interested applicants should have a minimum Diploma in Logistics Management / Materials Management with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Applicants with a Diploma/Degree but without relevant experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
SAP knowledge and purchasing experience in a healthcare institution would be an added advantage.
