Location: Singapore Role type: Apprenticeship / Dual Studies – Full Time (Temporary) Entity: Allianz SE Singapore Branch Job Purpose Allianz Apprenticeship programme is a 12-month programme designed to attract, develop, and retain talented individuals who will become future leaders in the company, while fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. The programme will commence in mid‑April 2026. Business Functions: Actuarial. What You Do You will be responsible for Corporate Actuarial topics in the Asia Pacific Property & Casualty (“PC”) business focusing on reserving, technical reporting (IFRS 17), planning and controlling, reinsurance topics and Lines of Business (“LOB”) reporting in the region. The role also encompasses the improvement of Operating Entities (“OE”) actuarial processes and actuarial maturity level. The Tasks And Projects Expected For The Apprenticeship Are Data preparation and filling up templates for the Independent Reserves Review. Setting up quarterly reserve Key Performance Indices (KPIs) tracking and LOB reporting performance analysis via Power BI or other software. Collect and check information such as attritional, large and catastrophe claims split, earned exposure and number of claims by LOB to enhance the Loss Ratio Walk for the region. Improve the reinsurance process in particular on Catastrophe data submission (ASPIRE) timeliness and accuracy, and improve AZAP reinsurance pricing tools. Support any other projects including, but not limited to, integration of any newly acquired company to meet Group requirements. Support Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) activities including quarterly actuarial closing activities, analysis and commentaries and product approval. Involvement in a sustainability year‑long project for all apprentices, with final presentation at AZAP Stand‑up or the Board Members. Mentorship Programme The apprentice will be assigned a mentor/manager from the Business Function. Mentor/Mentee catch‑ups will occur bi‑monthly for at least a 30‑minute session and there should be a minimum of six sessions throughout the apprenticeship programme. What You Bring Recent graduate (between 2024‑2026) from any local polytechnic in Singapore. The ability to bring new ideas and perspectives, which can lead to innovative solutions and approaches within the organization. Eagerness to learn and take initiatives in projects and tasks. Flexibility and openness to change in a dynamic work environment. AI skills – e.g. ChatGPT and Copilot an advantage. Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
