Job Description:

This role requires a professional with extensive experience in seagoing as a Master, preferably with Class 1 or 2 certification. Alternatively, the candidate should have at least 2 years of shore-based experience in safety, health, and environment management for product or chemical tankers.

Key Responsibilities include carrying out internal audits and QHSE inspections onboard vessels as required, investigating incidents and near-miss situations, reviewing shipboard safety committee minutes, approving risk assessments, assisting in Management of Change processes, and following up on vessel calls to critical ports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Sailing experience as a Master Mariner is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Navigation or an internationally recognized shipping qualification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as Master on Oil Tankers is required.
• Basic knowledge of Energy Management Systems and energy conservation methods is advantageous.
