Market Analyst (Ancillary Services) – Energy Market Company The Market Analyst reports to the Manager, Ancillary Services and supports the procurement and management of ancillary services for Singapore’s National Electricity Market (NEMS). Responsibilities The Market Analyst administers the entire life cycle of ancillary service procurement and contract management, ensuring transparent, fair and competitive processes in line with NEMS security and reliability needs. Lead the procurement, negotiation and settlement of ancillary service contracts. Manage contract renewals, annual CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, and monthly MEUC computations. Support the implementation of market rules, system changes, and business continuity planning. Maintain risk registers, controls, and stakeholder relationships throughout procurement and contract cycles. Co‐operate with business units to plan, operate and support efficient market operations. Key Duties Serve as the primary contact for ancillary service contract procurement and negotiation. Coordinate ancillary service contract management and implementation. Administer annual contract renewals and budget processing. Execute ancillary service contract settlements (MEUC computations, ASP payments, annual wash‐offs). Support ancillary services market rule implementation and system changes. Handle operational duties and ad‐hoc events. Proactively identify, formulate and maintain risk registers and controls. Participate in Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan exercises. Review, content manage and maintain the MO section of corporate and private websites. Periodically review and update business process manuals. Ideal Candidate Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent. Up to 3 years of procurement and contract management experience; power sector experience an advantage. Strong procurement governance skills and finance knowledge. Excellent analytical, meticulous and customer‐focused work style. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and VBA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
