Mortgage Loan Conversion Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Conversion Specialist to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Conversion Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and reviewing existing housing loan accounts for conversion eligibility.

You will prepare and submit loan conversion cases for credit approval, draft and verify customer loan conversion offer letters, and monitor and follow up on approved conversions. Your role will also involve conducting interviews with customers regarding loan redemption and supporting management and department initiatives through ad-hoc tasks and assignments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related role, preferably within consumer banking.
  • Solid understanding of retail banking products, particularly in mortgage financing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively across various stakeholders.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools, with an aptitude for data handling and analysis.
  • Demonstrates teamwork, service excellence, and the ability to work with speed and precision.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and resourceful in resolving issues and meeting deadlines.
