Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data & Analytics Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, robust, and efficient data and analytics solutions for our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop strategic solutions that align with business goals. Your expertise in data architecture, analytics platforms, and cloud technologies will be crucial in driving the success of our data and analytics initiatives.

As a Data & Analytics Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping our data and analytics landscape. Your technical expertise, architectural skills, and ability to drive innovative solutions will contribute to the success of our organization's data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to understand data and analytics needs, and translate them into technical requirements and architecture.
• Define data architecture, including data models, data integration, data pipelines, and data storage solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable analytics platforms, tools, and technologies for data processing, data visualization, and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to design and implement scalable and cost-effective cloud-based data platforms and services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and data flow diagrams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Data Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on data and analytics solutions.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data integration, data lake and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics platforms, such as Synapse, Databricks, Snowflakes, Denodo, MS Fabric , Talend or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of cloud-native data technologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, distributed data processing solutions, including data ingestion, data storage and data virtualization, data management and governance, data visualization, data science, real-time data analytics and data exchange.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in implementing DevOps strategy to build automated pipelines (CI/CD)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience or knowledge in advanced data analysis such as predictive and descriptive analytics using Artificial Intelligence(AI) /Machine Learning(ML) are added advantage
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty, Certified in Fabric, Denodo, Talend or Azure Data Engineer, are a plus.
