Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Hospital Services Manager, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, modification and replacement works of hospital facilities, mechanical and electrical services and non-clinical equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring outsourced maintenance agents perform against prescribed KPIs in engineering services, functions and maintenance activities.
  • Auditing and monitoring maintenance services standards rendered by specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service providers to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
  • Supporting, implementing and managing cyclical and improvement projects by the department and hospital.
  • Overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance M&E teams and ensuring good maintenance standards are maintained.
  • Auditing and monitoring performance standards of outsourced maintenance services by specialist vendors and service providers for critical systems vital to hospital operations.
  • Coordinating improvements projects to hospital services and facilities, including upgrading of systems and equipment components.
  • Providing advisory and support to outsourced maintenance agents in addressing and rectifying specialised system failures and troubleshooting.
  • Preparing technical specifications and drawings for system improvements and drafting cost estimates and work schedules for project planning and implementation.
  • Providing technical support in projects undertaken by external consultants appointed by the hospital.
  • Ensuring prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations.

Job Requirements:

Min Diploma/Degree in Building Services, Facilities Management or similar.

Minimum 5 years' experience in ACMV & managing M&E services in a healthcare setting.
